User Group Discussion Forum

The UTSA Data Warehouse User Group is a discussion forum for users built upon an online mailing list. Members can post questions (seek community assistance), comment on solutions, and network with the members of the data warehouse community from the convenience of their regular email client (e.g.: Outlook, mobile devices, etc.). This is a spam proof, moderated service, meaning that messages are reviewed before posting. Subscribed group members receive messages via email directly to their UTSA account, or messages can be read by accessing the community website. Each member decides whether the individual messages are of particular interest by choosing to read, respond to, or disregard the messages.
 
This forum is one of several tools the warehouse support team utilizes for user group collaboration, train-the-trainer support, and announcements: 

--Distributing system status reports 
--Tips and Techniques 
--Instructional mailings 
--Archiving previous message threads 
--Announcing user training opportunities
 
All Data Warehouse users are automatically subscribed to the user group forum with their completed request for access to the data warehouse. Users may request to unsubscribe from this service at any time but by doing so important announcements, tips and techniques from the user community will be missed.
