Following a national search, the College of Architecture, Construction and Planning is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Tulio Sulbaran as the Department Chair for the Department of Construction Science at the University of Texas at San Antonio, effective August 1, 2017.

Dr. Sulbaran has many years of industry experience and he is very interested in increasing industry involvement in the Department of Construction Science at the University of Texas at San Antonio. Dr. Sulbaran also has a wealth of leadership/administrative experience that will help increase the success of the students and faculty in the construction science and management program.  He is recognized for his passion for teaching as demonstrated by the prestigious ABC John Trimmer Award for Excellence in Teaching that he received.
