AAC SUMMER SERVICE PROJECT

On behalf of the Academic Advising Council, we would like to invite you to participate in this year’s summer service project. We had great success last year with the holiday service project donating used/new items for our four-legged friends. Any of the items listed below would be greatly appreciated to help San Antonio animals in need. We will collect items through Friday, August 7^th, 2015. Please contact Miranda Swain (miranda.swain@utsa.edu) for more information on submitting your donations (I am happy to come to each center to collect items if need be, and to store items as well). Please remember that even the smallest donations can go a long way!

• Dog houses (especially the plastic "igloo" type)
• Crates (all sizes)
• Kiddie pool for dogs
• Rawhide chews and bones
• Gallon-size Ziploc (or similar) bags                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               
• Towels, sheets and blankets (large sizes are helpful)
• Paper towels
• Cat beds/dog beds                                                                                                                                                                                     
• Thunder shirts (all sizes)
• Small collars for puppies/kittens
• Cat towers/scratching posts 
• Flea shampoo/flea comb 
• Dog biscuits and cat treats      
• Tearless baby shampoo/hair dryer
• Hand sanitizer
• Pet toys (Kong toys, rope toys, etc.)
• Newspapers
• Small bags of cat and dog food
• Grooming supplies (brushes, nail clippers, etc.)
• Stainless steel food and water bowls (all sizes)
• Baby gates
• Laundry baskets
• Puppy pads
• Plastic containers (all sizes)
• Litter boxes/litter scooper/clay cat litter
• Cleaning supplies/office supplies/rubbing alcohol
