Hello all!

There are currently two videos available for you to view to help with plans.  One is a basic step-by-step tutorial that shows how to build a plan and make edits to it.  The other is a run through of the different views and what information you can get from each view.  Both videos can be accessed on the advisor internal website at the following link: http://www.utsa.edu/advise/internal/Training.html.

Reminder: We have an internal advising website.  There are quite a few training materials, tutorials and FAQ’s on the site regarding DegreeWorks, Global and Banner (among other things).  The site is: http://www.utsa.edu/advise/internal. 

We will be coming out with more videos soon.  I will send out another email as new ones become available.

Student videos can be accessed at: http://www.utsa.edu/advise/DegreeWorks.html.  We re-did the video that was on this site instructing students how to use the planner.  We will be making more videos for them as well.  Please encourage your students to visit this site!

With the big push for creating plans for students, I wanted to let you know that I am available to do refresher training.  I can meet with the entire center, a small group or do one-on-one training.  Please email me at: Amanda.Garcia@utsa.edu if you are interested in setting up a training or if you have questions regarding the planner.

On Monday and Tuesday we will have a Degree Works information table for students in the UC next to the Career Center from 10-2.  We will be answering questions students have on the planner and showing them how to use it.
