Subject: [Advising] Nominations for Most Valuable Advisor and Best Newcomer Award

The time is here to nominate those advisors among us that really shine bright and stand out.  There are two advising awards one for the Most Valuable Advisor and one for the Best Newcomer.  Please take a couple of minutes to fill out the attached nomination forms and return them to Barbara’s Office in the MS building.  Instructions are below and printed on the nominations forms.

Most Valuable Award:

1. Advisors must have worked as a UTSA Advisor for two or more years.

2. There is no limit to the number of nominations a person can submit. 

3. Advising centers is not required to nominate an advisor.

Newcomer Award:

1. Advisors must have worked as a UTSA Advisor for less than two years.

2. There is no limit to the number of nominations a person can submit. 

3. Timeframe is 2 years from the awards presentation: December 2014
