Congratulations!!

Margaret Kelly, Administrative Associate II in the Honors College, is Staff Appreciation Award recipient for September 2016.  Her colleague, Shunverie Barrientez, said “Margaret is an amazing asset to the Honors College and would easily be considered the ‘Fixer’ in our college.  She is frequently and consistently called upon to complete last minute tasks for the college. Those tasks are typically not her duties, but she eagerly accepts her role as a team player. Our students love her excellent customer service and willingness to go above the call of duty. The many gifts of thanks on her desk from students paint the picture of appreciation for her hard work and commitment to UTSA.”  Congratulations Margaret and thank you for your continued contributions to UTSA!

WHO ARE WE?
The UTSA Staff Council works to continually improve university operations and the well-being of the university's staff. Charged by the president and the Board of Regents of the University of Texas System, the 35 members of the Staff Council represent all administrative areas of the university and serve as an advisory body, making recommendations to the president regarding the interests and concerns of staff. In addition, the council coordinates staff appreciation awards and events and provides scholarships for eligible staff pursuing degrees at the university.
