Subject: Library Peer Coach Workshop

Dear Colleagues,

The UTSA Libraries Peer Coaches Program is offering the first ever opportunity for students to attend a workshop including free pizza at the Downtown Campus.  This is a workshop “for students, by students.” Please feel free to spread the word to your students, including forwarding this message to your email lists.

Date/Time:                  Monday March 3, 2014 from 5:00-6:00 pm

Location:                     DOWNTOWN CAMPUS –  Frio Street Building, Room 3.412 (College of Education Computer Classroom)

Title:                            Database Boot Camp

Description:                 Students will learn how to “work smarter, not harder” by navigating library databases and research guides to find information for papers, presentations, and projects. Time will be provided for hands-on practice, questions, and individual assistance. This is a basic level workshop. Registration is encouraged,  but not required.

Presenters:                  Peer Coaches Teresa Barker and Charles Lhota

Food:                           Free Pizza (while supplies last)

I will send you a reproducible flyer and link to registration prior to the workshop date.  In the meantime, please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you for letting your students know about this opportunity!

Best,
