Hello Advising Community,

I’ve attached a flyer with information about behavioral sciences courses available this summer. These may be a good option for students who need free electives or who are interested in exploring the behavioral sciences.

As a reminder, this is a new major launched in Fall 2025, and the department is still developing its upper-division coursework. Because of this, students who have already completed their core requirements and do not have available free electives may find this major challenging to complete at this time.

Please also keep in mind that students who need to maintain full-time enrollment for financial aid, VA benefits, or scholarships should carefully consider this when thinking about switching to the behavioral sciences major.

At present, the earliest expected graduation timeline for this degree is Spring 2029.
