growing the force of leaders committed to ensuring that all kids have an education that expands their opportunities and gives them more choices in life.
Leadership through TFA begins in the classroom, where corps members spend at least two years in low-income communities teaching students and helping them reach their full potential. Through teaching, they develop the skills, mindsets, and relationships
necessary to become lifelong advocates for students and join a nationwide network of change-makers.
This year, 11,000 corps members are teaching in 50 regions across the country, while nearly 37,000 Teach For America alumni continue working from inside
and outside the field of education for the changes necessary to make a great education a reality for all.
