Subject: Hispanic Heritage Month - DRC Panel
Good afternoon Dreamer Council,
We are excited to announce the DRC will host a panel discussion this upcoming Monday, September 27, from 11 am to 12 pm, to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month. Out topic of discussion is “Dreamer and Undocumented Student Conversations: The
Immigrant Experience from Latin American Countries”. We will have several panelists joining to discuss their experiences as immigrants from various Latin American countries and there will be an opportunity for UTSA students, faculty, and staff to ask questions
as well.
I’ve included the flyer for our panel discussion. If possible, we would very much appreciate it if you can share the RowdyLink within your respective areas as well. Here’s the link:

Also, the DRC would like you to save the date for October 28, National Immigrants Day. We will be sending more information for our upcoming October event in a future email.
Thank you, and I hope you will be able to attend the DRC panel discussion!
Sincerely,
Damaris Ibarra, M.S.
