Volunteers Needed for BestFest

 

Homecoming is approaching fast and Student Affairs, Student Activities, and Roadrunner Productions need your help at this year’s BestFest event on Friday, October 15. 

  

Homecoming and BestFest are some of the signature campus-wide initiatives that we encourage all staff to engage in to provide great experiences for our UTSA students, through volunteerism and participation. This event brings all members of the UTSA community together in a well-deserved celebration while supporting our incredible students and student organizations.

 

BestFest volunteer opportunities have shifts scheduled in the days prior to the event and throughout the day on Friday, October 15, beginning at noon and ending at 11:30 pm. Please note that we typically need the most help during the event itself from 6:00 to 10:00 pm. We appreciate you making volunteering a priority.

 

The volunteer opportunities available include: 

 

·       ticket distribution

·       student organization check-in 

·       giving wristbands at the front gate 

·       ticket booth sales 

·       event shirt sales 

·       student organization checkout 

·       student organization ticket collection 

·       event tear down

The form will close Wednesday, October 6 at 5:00 pm

 

Volunteers will be contacted about a brief training that will be held with virtual options available. As always, please confer with your supervisor about this time commitment before filling out the form. 

 

Volunteers will receive a BestFest shirt as a “Thank You” to wear at the event but UTSA gear is encouraged!
