Registration is now open for the 2014 UTSA Heart Walk. The event is open to all faculty, staff, and students and will coincide this year with National Walking Day on April 2, 2014.  

Please consider joining fellow walking enthusiasts and participating in the 2014 UTSA Heart Walk. Participants raise funds by asking family, friends and co-workers to sponsor them. Sponsors can pledge a flat donation, or participants can track donations via the Heart Walk Pledge Form and Registration Packet. The Heart Walk will take place at all three campuses simultaneously between 11:00 am to 2:00pm on April 2, 2014.  If you cannot participate in the Heart Walk, but still wish to contribute, please consider pledging to anyone you know (or find someone) who plans on walking.  All funds raised will be donated to the American Heart Association.

The link above and the attached registration packet will provide information for this year’s walkathon event being co-hosted by the President’s Advisory Committee (PAC) for the UTSA State Employee Charitable Campaign (SECC) and the UTSA Wellness Committee.  Conceived of four years ago by the PAC as a way of promoting the SECC, this annual event raises more contributions and sees more participants with each and every year!!
