Hi Derek,

This is a course that AAS majors and minors could use as an elective or specialization course.

Can you send a note to the list about this? Or if you send me an updated list of majors and minors I will reach out to them directly.

Subject: African Diaspora Cinema Course

Hello Dr. Harris,

We have a new art history topics class in the upcoming spring semester in the School of Art titled African Diaspora Cinema with Dr. Edit Toth.  There is a pre-requisite of successful completion of 1 lower-level art history survey course (either AHC 1113 or AHC 1123).  Any students who have taken one of these two surveys to fulfill their Core Creative Arts requirement would be eligible to take this upper-level art history class.

The flyer (attached) includes a course description.  We have several seats still open in the class and wanted to spread the word to those who may be interested.

Please let us know if you have any questions. Thanks so much!

Kristy
