Subject: MAS Courses for Fall 2021

Good evening,

I know that many, if not most, students have already registered for Fall 2021, but I wanted to share these flyers in hopes that you could encourage students to enroll in these courses. These are new MAS courses and have low enrollment.

MAS 4953 Latinx Songwriting

MAS 4953 Latinas/xs in Music and Society

Dr. Cruz has noted that students don't need to have a formal background in music to enroll in her two courses. We're very excited about these two new MAS courses which will be included as electives in our degree plan, pending approval.

We're also offering:

MAS 4953 Mexican American and Indigenous Foodways

This class might be of interest to students in the College for Health, Community, and Policy, so if you know students in that college that need an elective, please recommend this class.

We greatly appreciate your support with these courses.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to me.

Thank you,

Lilliana
