Subject: Mexican American Studies flyers for Fall 2022
Dear colleagues,
I wanted to share some of our course flyers for Fall 2022. We're offering four new courses --- Black and Brown Youth Resistance, Chicana/x Feminisms, Chicanx Music Methods and Pedagogy,
and Mexican American Music Performance Practicum (no music experience required).
We're still working hard to build our program and appreciate all of your support in promoting our courses (I know that some students took Dr. Cruz' Chicanx Music course through
your guidance and support).
Please let us know if you have any questions!

Subject: Spring 2022 MAS flyers
Good evening,
I wanted to share the MAS Spring 2022 flyers. These are the classes we'll be offering next semester:
MAS 2013 Intro to Chicanx Studies
MAS 2023 Latinx Cultural Expressions
MAS 3003 Chicanx Music

MAS 3123 Mexican American Culture
MAS 4013 Latinx Organizing, Activism and Leadership

REGSS 2003 Teaching to Power
We're hoping our new course MAS 4013 "Si Se Puede!: Latino Activism, Leadership, and Organizing" makes this semester (we had to cancel the class last spring because
of low enrollment). We also have a few seats open for the MAS 4953 course which will focus on Global Blackness and Afro-Latinidad.
We're also excited to offer two new MAS Graduate Courses as part of our Graduate Certificate in MAS:
MAS 5203 Chicanas/os and Latinas/os in the Media
MAS 5103 Mexican American Literature
Thank you in advance for helping us promote these courses! Should you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.
Sincerely,
Lilliana

Good evening!
I know that students have already registered for Spring 2021, but I wanted to share some flyers for MAS courses next semester in hopes that you could encourage students to enroll.
We're offering a new course called "Si Se Puede!: Latino Activism, Leadership, and Organizing" and "MAS Corazon Music Ensemble" which is open to anyone wanting to be in a Mexican American music ensemble class . We're really excited about these two new courses.
We're also offering "Historical Legacies: Chicanas/os in Education" and "Mexican Americans in the Southwest" (we're working on increasing enrollment in these courses, as well).
We greatly appreciate your support with these courses.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to me. Have a great end of the week!
Thank you,
Lilliana
