To expedite advising for Math & Physical Science (MPS) majors seeking teacher certification, please note the details below.

If a student is currently pursuing or wishes to change their major to Multidisciplinary Science (MDS) with Teacher Certification or Math-General Math Studies concentration (MAT-GMS) with Teacher Certification, they will be advised by the Teacher Certification Specialists in IDED (210-458-6287).  If they are currently pursuing or wish to change to MDS or MAT without Teacher Certification, they will see the advisors in MPS (210-458-6073).

Please note this distinction when changing majors and referring students.  Thanks for your assistance!
