Advising Community,

Please note that both the Chemistry and Biochemistry majors now have “pre-major” requirements beginning this fall.  Depending on when the student begins with us, determines their coding in BANNER.  Brand new freshmen are coded as BS-CHE-UC or BS-BCH-UC.  Those that are transferring to us not under the FYE requirements are coded as PCM for Pre-Chemistry and PBC for Pre-Biochemistry.  I know that these details are difficult to remember if not working with these students often, so please feel free to look at the coding chart listed in the ‘Resources folder’ in the I:drive.  The codes for LHS have been updated.  You may also call us for clarification if needed.
