Hello all,
We just came across a defect in our current version of DegreeWorks. We had an advisor report not being able to save a PDF for a student and received the following error:

After some research, we have found that it is caused by using global exceptions. You can tell a student has a global exception by looking at the exception block and under the block column it says
Global exception.

Removing the global exception and redoing it as normal individual exceptions fixes the issue and allows for the PDF to be saved. If you do not use global exceptions, or have no idea what I’m talking about, you may not run in to them. This
is something an advisor would select to do when doing a substitution exception. These are not very common, but I know some people use them on occasion.
If you have any questions, please email us at DegreeWorks@utsa.edu.
Regards,
Amanda Garcia
