Subject: Fiscal EOY processing (8/31-9/1)

 

Hello,

 

UTSA’s fiscal year is coming to an end and so the Banner database will be placed into restricted role on Monday, August 31 (about 5pm), to allow for the end of year processes to run.

 

The restricted role allows only certain logins to access the database, so batch processing (AppWorx) can continue running. This means that most area processes will not be impacted (only those dealing with financial transactions).

 

We will notify you when the Banner database is back online but we hope to have it available before noon on Tuesday, September 1st.

 

ASAP and portions of the mobile app will also be unavailable during this time.

 

If any of you are involved with posting information on your social media sights then you might want to post a comment about the down time to avoid confusion for the students.
