I wanted to share an overview of the various efforts underway to support FTIC Fall 2020 Academic Warning and Probation students as well as the non
FTIC cohort.
The portfolio of targeted actions and interventions includes

Targeted Outreach using Illume from Student Success

Academic Probation Course (Roadrunner Refresh)- for FTIC 20 students only(401)

Policy Reviews/Adjustments

Expanded Academic Support and Success Coaching

SI and Tutoring added to courses with higher DFW rates in Fall 20

Targeted messaging to students in courses with academic support

Hour reductions for those with 16+ hours on Probation/Warning-deadline Feb. 12

Targeted communication to those non-registered from our FTIC20 cohort
Overview of the Roadrunner Refresh course

401 Probation students were invited to engage in the new course on Blackboard this week
-
New content added throughout the term to provide just-in-time support relevant to specific times in the semester
-
Content includes announcements and guided modules emphasizing strategies to build resiliency and leverage campus resources to be successful
Thank you to everyone who came together quickly to stand up these projects. Together we will help these students stay on track and identify proactive
steps we can take to support students who may face similar challenges.
