You should all have received the email below from OIT, but I want to encourage you to read the short paragraph that describes two-factor authentication and also watch the 21-second video, both at www.utsa.edu/oit/twofactorauthentication.

Dear Colleague,

In order to meet the evolving challenges in information security, UTSA will implement two-factor authentication for VPN access. The two-factor service is called myUTSA ID+. Starting on November 2, 2015, when you access the UTSA VPN, you will be asked to set up your myUTSA ID+ powered by Duo Security. This process takes about five minutes and instructions will be provided at that time. If you would like to download the Duo Mobile app from Duo Security, you may do so at any time by visiting your device’s app store.

More information can be found at www.utsa.edu/oit/twofactorauthentication.

Thank you,
