Attached you will find the Academic Advising Council’s 2016 report on undergraduate academic advising at UTSA. This report can also be found on the
AAC’s website. The report was sent to directors and AAC members last week, but we wanted to send it out on the listserve to make sure everyone has gotten a copy of it. This report includes the results of the 2016 AAC Advisor Survey conducted in March. The
“Discussion & Recommendations” section combines the survey results with additional information and data gathered by the AAC. Because the report is lengthy and some information is duplicated in the “Survey Results” and “Discussion & Recommendations” sections,
it is recommended that the “Executive Summary” and “Discussion & Recommendations” sections be reviewed at a minimum.
