It is our pleasure to announce three new staff members joined the UTSA Academic Advising team yesterday, Monday, July 8, 2024. All three will serve as an Academic Advisor I.  Please help us welcome Daryl, Denisse, and Nina to the UTSA Academic Advising team using Kudoboard.

	Meet Daryl Vincent Academic Advising Unit: Life and Health Sciences Kudoboard for Daryl: https://utsaadvising.kudoboard.com/boards/1nZV5imu Hello, my name is Daryl Vincent, I am originally from New Orleans but I have been in South Texas for more than 20 years. I am excited to begin my journey as an academic advisor at UTSA. With over a decade of experience working with collegiate students, I enjoy assisting students with academic advancement strategies and helping them adjust to the rigors of college life. I hold dual Master’s degrees (Business Education and Health, Physical Education & Recreation) from Emporia State University, and I am currently pursuing a doctorate in Strategic Leadership. In my free time, I assist high school student-athletes and their families with recruiting, and enjoy watching classic TV shows.
	Meet Denisse Sherman Academic Advising Unit: Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences Kudoboard for Denisse: https://utsaadvising.kudoboard.com/boards/yZKz3HxO My name is Denisse Sherman and I am thrilled to become part of the UTSA Advising team! I completed high school in Eagle Pass, TX, and graduated with my BA in Communication from Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) in Laredo, TX. I also acquired my Masters in Business Administration from TAMIU with a concentration in management. I was an Admissions Counselor at TAMIU for over a year, and I recently moved to San Antonio to begin an exciting new chapter along with my husband and our dog, Leah. In my spare time, I enjoy hanging out with my family, going to the movies, discovering new restaurants, and traveling. You can also always find me working on creative projects or planning my next trip.
	Meet Nina Morgan Academic Advising Unit: Business Studies Kudoboard for Nina: https://utsaadvising.kudoboard.com/boards/opPVJdCL My name is Nina Morgan. I am honored to begin my Roadrunner journey on the Academic Advising team. I grew up in Houston and graduated from Baylor University with a B.A. in International Affairs and French. I received my M.A. from American University (Washington, D.C.) in International Communication. I previously worked at Baylor as an Academic Advisor and as a 4^th - 7^th grade teacher. I have enjoyed being a stay-at-home mom to two sweet kids and volunteering in the community. My favorite hobby is to travel; hiking in the Rocky Mountains is a favorite. I also enjoy fitness, reading, and spending time with my family in the Hill Country.
