Good afternoon Friends of Honors! We would like to extend an invite for you to join us
Wednesday, October 27th, for our Honors Community Ofrenda Reception. Please feel free to share this with your colleagues.
Students in the HON 3503 Day of the Dead course have built an ofrenda in the Honors Student Lounge (GSR 1.204) and we invite you to come see it. It is open to everyone in the UTSA community. We welcome you to stop by anytime and add items
to it for loved ones you would like to remember. If you would like to join us for the reception on October 27th, it is from 1-5pm and is a come and go format. We’ll have pan de muerto, conchas, and Mexican hot chocolate. There will also be interactive activities
for you to either take with you or leave on the ofrenda.
Save the date! The HON 3503 class has also created a virtual exhibit for
The Institute of Texan Cultures. The exhibit will go live on Friday, October 29th, and will include interactive elements as well!
