Happy Orientation season! This is your friendly reminder that
ALL students are invited to participate in Music ensembles each semester. They do not need an override and may register for the courses via ASAP. Marching Band (MUS 3801) especially relies on non-Music majors each fall.
Some ensembles require an audition to determine seating/parts.
The following are the most popular ensembles:
MUS 3801 Marching Band
MUS 3731 University Band
MUS 3751 Symphonic Band
MUS 3821 Wind Ensemble
MUS 3761 UTSA Orchestra
MUS 3771 Jazz Ensemble
MUS 3781 Concert Choir
MUS 3721 Men’s Glee Club
MUS 3811 Women’s Choir
MUS 3791 Lyric Theater
Many small instrument ensembles are under MUS 4581. Students may register and participate, but please encourage them to follow up with the Music Department for further instructions.
