Hello, everyone!
For many years, students, faculty and staff have asked for better transportation options between campuses. As a Presidential Initiative, the Downtown Campus Task Force surveyed students, staff and faculty and transportation consistently
was one of the top issues. Based on this feedback, we were able to negotiate a partnership with VIA so that
beginning in the Fall, ALL UTSA STUDENTS, STAFF AND FACULTY CAN RIDE FREE between campuses and around the city. Many thanks to Clay Haverland with Campus Services, and many others, who helped get us to this point. Check out the article below and

New UTSA, VIA partnership provides free transportation for Roadrunners
(March 20, 2019) – UTSA today announced a new partnership with VIA Metropolitan Transit that provides the entire
university community with free bus passes to transport them between campuses and throughout San Antonio.
Beginning with the fall 2019 semester, VIA will provide free, unlimited access to bus service anywhere in the city
for current students, faculty and staff. As San Antonio’s urban serving university, the VIA
U-Pass program will offer cost savings and sustainable commuting options for all Roadrunners.
