Good Afternoon,

I am writing to share with you the information on the ALEKS placement system and I am hoping that you will share this information with all the advisors.  These two attachments were sent out to the current students today who are registered for either MAT NCB or MAT 0213 at UTSA per Dr. Norman’s request and Dr. Williams approval as a pilot for this Fall 2016.  The ALEKS system is being offered to students identified as developmental in math as an on-line skill building and assessment tool with the end goal of placing student out of development entirely prior to the first day of class.
