Happy Wednesday!

It is our pleasure to announce the addition of 2 new Academic Advisor Is to the UTSA Academic Advising Staff.   They begin, today, Wednesday, March 1^st and will be assisting students in Exploratory Studies and Business. Meet Stephanie Reyes Academic Advising Unit: Exploratory Studies Kudoboard for Stephanie: https://utsaadvising.kudoboard.com/boards/sAKivQf7 Hello nice to meet you!  My name is Stephanie Reyes and I am happy to be joining the UTSA advising team.  I was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas graduating from Texas A&M San Antonio with a BA in History and later receiving my MA in History from Wayland Baptist University.  I have been working in higher education for 6 years in different roles, however been working specifically as an academic advisor for about 3 years.  In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, watching television and movies, learning new things, and taking walks.

Meet Michael Tapp Academic Advising Unit: Business Studies Kudoboard for Michael: https://utsaadvising.kudoboard.com/boards/DZaR3saG My name is Michael Tapp, and I am happy to be re-joining the UTSA family! I am originally from New Jersey, but I have lived most of my life in Florida and Texas. As an undergraduate, I double majored in English and History. After graduation, I spent time in various jobs: education zookeeper, Children’s assistant librarian, bookstore associate and day laborer. During a trip to London, England, I was inspired to continue my educational journey. So, I enrolled in the English Graduate program at the University of North Texas (UNT), where I earned my MA in English in 2010. My next 12 years were spent in education, as a college instructor, including 4 years here at UTSA, and as a teacher at Brandeis High School. In my free time, I enjoy anything outdoors (hiking, camping, disc golf, etc…), watching TV, playing games, and collecting Hippos, my spirit animal.
