Good morning all,

Please join me in congratulating your colleagues for their involvement and recognitions at the 2016  TEXAAN Conference held last week in Austin, Texas. 

· Yolanda Williams was awarded the 2016 Outstanding Academic Advisor Award.

· Shunverie (Shun) Barrientez was elected to a 2 year term as the Vice President for Membership and will serve on the TEXAAN executive leadership board.

· Jennifer Uranga was selected to serve as the South Region representative at the Region meeting.

· Betsy Haddad-completed her 2 year term as Vice President Publications and the TEXAAN executive leadership board.

· Presenters at this year’s conference included Diana Howard; Donna Ware; Jennifer Uranga; Shun Barrientez; Susie Saucedo; Yolanda Williams; and Barbara Smith.
