Greetings!

With orientations in full swing, the Digital Initiatives Team (DIT) is doing some Advisor Spotlights to help our students get to know us a little better. Currently, the Twitter account has 4 spotlights from this past week. To see some examples of this week’s postings, visit https://twitter.com/UTSAadvising. We featured John Bonner in SSS who did a video, and Sylvia Mansour, Albert Lopez and Karl Fisher who each submitted a photo. We’d like to have 3-4 advisors, directors, admins, support staff, work studies, etc. to volunteer to be “showcased” on the social media accounts for each week of orientation. This is completely OPTIONAL and you do not need to participate (though the greater interest the better!).

If you are interested in being featured in the advisor spotlight, please answer the following questions and email it directly to me (laura.garcia@utsa.edu) along with any photo you’d like posted. Please do not send to the listserv.

Advisor Photo (not of themselves): Advisor submits photo of something other than themselves and something about the photo. (Example: Their dog, their office, etc.)

Advisor Quote: Either fun facts about themselves or a personal story

Q4: Type in your caption. LIMIT OF 140 CHARACTERS. If it is greater than 140 characters, it will be edited or placed on the photo you submit.
