Hello all,

There is a new process now for when students are exempt from AIS and how to go about showing that in DegreeWorks. Those requests are now to be sent to your Director or the Advisor IV’s in your unit, and they will update Banner, which then updates DegreeWorks. The exception to this is if a UTSA course needs to be used for AIS. In those cases, send an email to the DegreeWorks inbox.

We also get questions about petitions and when those should go to the DegreeWorks inbox or the processing team. I am attaching a document that has this information and explains when things should get sent to an area or when you can make an exception.

Reminder because we are still seeing this: do not make exceptions in the core. If an exception is needed in the core, send an email to the DegreeWorks inbox.
