Please join me in congratulating Raquel Linares Orozco for receiving the Advisor of the Year Award from the B.E.S.O. student Organization.

The Bilingual Education Student Organization provides information, assistance and fellowship for students who are interested in bicultural and bilingual studies.  B.E.S.O membership reflects the multiculturalism of South Texas, including both traditional and non-traditional students who will become bilingual educators serving in our community.

At yesterday’s Year End Ceremony Raquel’s outstanding student services were honored with the B.E.S.O Advisor of the Year Award.  One of the criteria for the award was that Raquel played a significant role in her students’ academic success here at UTSA.  

Thank you Raquel for being an outstanding advisor – You make the UTSA Advising Community shine brightly!
