Subject: Notice: City of San Antonio - Buena Vista Corridor Sidewalk and Lane Closures

Facilities received the following notification from the City of San Antonio (CoSA) on November 27, 2019 regarding sidewalk and lane closures from Monday, December 2 through Tuesday, December 31.  For additional information, please contact the CoSA representative listed at the end of the notice.   

 

Buena Vista Corridor (at UTSA Sidewalk and Lane Closures)

Beginning on Monday, December 2 through Tuesday, December 31, the contractor will close the sidewalk and southbound lane of Buena Vista between Frio and Pecos to install new sidewalks, driveways and other infrastructure improvements.  This project is being constructed in conjunction with the Buena Vista Street Corridor, a $2.5 million 2012 Bond Project. The eastbound traffic lanes will remain open for motorists while construction is underway. Additionally, pedestrian access will be maintained as necessary for key events. For ease of reference, a map is provided below. TCI will continue to communicate this work with Council District 5 office, Right of Way division, Center City Development Office, Centro SA, Cortez Family, UTSA and Market Square Tenants and surrounding businesses.
