The department has removed the prerequisite for MAS 4013 in fall and this class is a great upper division elective for many majors.

I always understood that we can only change pre req as a catalogue change. I think we will have to do it manually. For sure, we will get rid of the pre req this year since it is undergraduate
catalogue year change.

Professor Cervantes,
Good afternoon! I hear that MAS 4013 may be considered for cancelation due to low enrollment (currently four students). Before final decision is made, I request consideration of removing MAS 2013 as a prerequisite
for this semester only. I’ve had some MAS admits this semester that I wanted to recommend take it but they don’t have MAS 2013 completed or will be doing it this semester. Since this is the first time it has been offered in some time, maybe removing that prerequisite
can increase enrollment. If that doesn’t work, then department would have to make the decision.
This is just a thought. Let me know what you think about it after conferring with rest of faculty.
