Subject: Transcript hold for foreign transcripts

Dear Academic Advisors,

With our international student orientation on Monday, August 10^th and advising sessions taking place at the end of next week I would like to address one of our transcripts holds.

If you come across a transcript hold that reads something of the nature of “View original/official HS transcript” or “View official/original university tran” please continue with your advising/registration session and then refer the student to our office to meet with Beatriz Gomez Rodriguez, International Undergraduate Admissions Advisor. Students have been informed that their official/original foreign transcripts should be presented to our office upon arrival to UTSA however, we will extend the deadline as needed. Students will be required to submit/present their original transcripts to our office during their first semester of enrollment. Please note that students should not be allowed to register for future semesters if the transcript hold is still present.
