Hello All,

We wanted to let you know of an update made to the 39 upper-level hours calculation in Degree Works. When a student completes a graduate course for undergraduate credit, we allow those credits to count toward the upper-level hours needed for the degree. The 39-hour calculation in the Degree block did not automatically include hours for graduate courses though. We previously had to use exceptions to adjust the hours needed.

We updated the calculation so that it now includes graduate courses taken for undergraduate credit (see below from the Exceptions view). This update was made for the 2018-2020 and newer catalogs.
