Frio Street Construction to Resume on March 28

The City’s construction on Frio St. will resume at UTSA’s Downtown Campus beginning March 28, 2017 until further notice.  Fencing will be placed on both sides of Frio St. and all sidewalks will be closed along Frio St. from W. Cesar Chavez Blvd to Buena Vista St.  The mid-block crosswalk, between the Frio Street Building and Monterey Building, will be closed.  Pedestrians should cross Frio St. at the corner of Buena Vista St.  ADA access into the Buena Vista Building will be at the entrance facing Buena Vista St. and into the Durango Building from the entrance facing W. Cesar Chavez Blvd.  The drive in front of the Frio Street Building will remain open, but whenever possible, student pick-up should be made at alternate locations.  Once the temporary drive at the Monterey Parking lot is constructed, the City will open an access to Buena Vista St. from the Monterey Lot.  For additional information, please refer to the UTSA Fence map.
