Hello all,

We are updating refresh settings in Degree Works in the hopes that it will help with lag issues with Degree Works and registration.

  1. It will take three minutes for worksheets/audits to automatically refresh. You can force a refresh by following the manual refresh settings I sent out yesterday (Banner data refresh button + Process button). The first time students log in to Degree Works and there have been changes to their record in Banner (such as registration), the audit will refresh with the changes. If they go to register and come back and refresh DW in less than three minutes than the last time they refreshed DW, their changes will not show on their audits. A message will be put on the worksheets letting them know it will take three minutes before they can refresh their audits to view changes.
  2. We turned off refresh for Planner Audits. This change will only be temporary while we are in the peak of registration. When you view the Planner Audit, you may not see newly registered courses.

We know the slowness, spinning circles, and errors are very frustrating and we, along with UTS, are working hard to try and get things back to normal as soon as possible. We appreciate your patience.

If you have any questions or notice anything unusual with Degree Works, please email us at DegreeWorks@utsa.edu.

Regards,

Amanda Garcia
