Hello all,

This past June we updated the scribe to automatically waive students from AIS that have been approved for exemption from AIS for the 22-24 catalog. Reminder that these are students who are admitted as TR or are Post Bac. This change meant AIS would not show as required and instead CAO would require six credits of core classes.

We have now made those same changes to Degree Works for the 18-20 and 20-22 catalogs.

Hello all,

We have updated the scribe for core for the 22-24 catalog so if a student has a Transfer (TR) or Post Bac (PB) admit type or a classification of PB, then AIS will not show as a requirement in DW. Component Area Option (090) will show that 6 credits are required for these students. These are students that are automatically exempt from AIS.

Here is an example of a PB student and what their Component Area Option looks like for their core:

Remember to hit Process to view the change for these students. We will also do this for other catalogs and will let you know when this has been completed.
