My name is AmandaRae Rodriguez and I am excited to be part of the UTSA Advising family! I’m originally from Elsa, Texas, which is in the Rio Grande Valley in deep south Texas. I graduated from the University of Texas-Pan American (now known as the University of Texas at Rio Grande Valley) in 2015 with a BA in Communication Studies. I recently worked in the student services department at South Texas College as a Cashier and assisted students and the college community with their financial affairs. I honestly love to help others and my mom, who is a retired teacher, has been my inspiration for a career in the education field. In my free time, I love to binge-watch movies and shows, rollerblade, cook and spend quality time with family and friends. My boyfriend and I are also fur-parents to our two handsome cats, Kobe and Kyo.
