Dear All,

Now that we have settled into our home offices, the next challenge has started: Fall class registration for Seniors.

Don’t forget to relax your neck and shoulders every so often, while typing away to answer your students’ e-mails and requests.

I invite you to below exercises to take a breather and relax your shoulders.  Take your time, focus on your breath and follow the exercise

Scoot your chair away from the desk

Rest your hands in your lap

Inhale deeply and exhale deeply

Follow below exercise - three times:

Inhale shoulders forward and up, exhale shoulder back and down

Inhale shoulders forward and up, exhale shoulder back and down

Inhale shoulders forward and up, exhale shoulder back and down

Now reverse – three times

Inhale shoulders back and up, exhale shoulder forward and down

Inhale shoulders back and up, exhale shoulder forward and down

Inhale shoulders back and up, exhale shoulder forward and down

Center your head and take a deep inhale and a deep exhale

Inhale drop your left ear to your left shoulder

Exhale role your head forward towards your chest

Inhale drop your right ear to right shoulder

Exhale role your head forward towards your chest

Inhale drop your left ear to your left shoulder

Exhale role your head forward towards your chest

Inhale drop your right ear to right shoulder

Exhale role your head forward towards your chest

Inhale drop your left ear to your left shoulder

Exhale role your head forward towards your chest

Inhale drop your right ear to right shoulder

Exhale role your head forward towards your chest

Center your head and take a deep inhale and a deep exhale

Now move your shoulders any way your body craves.  You may want to get out of your chair and move around a little before you get back at your tasks at hand.

Take good care of yourself - Sylvia
