Subject: Notice to Staff Concerning the Spring Registration Schedule
Please pass on to your staff…
Change to the Spring Registration Schedule and Process
To improve and ease the registration process, changes have been made to the registration schedule and instructions.
Different from the past, students now have a predetermined window of time to register. Most students will have two registration timeframes. After each window ends,
students will then have to wait till registration is open for all students.
Also new this year is that undergraduates who have applied for spring graduation, or at 80% degree work completion will be part of the priority registration group.
Please continue to encourage students to be prepared in advance as they will have limited time to register.
- students should check to see if there are any holds on their account that prevent registration and resolve them prior to their registration window
- students should review degrees works for the courses they need and make sure to check prerequisites
- students should make sure that any TSI issues are resolved
- Students are encouraged to meet with their academic advisors if they need any assistance in planning their next semester.
Spring registration will begin on October 21 with the priority populations, and continue to progress to each classifications until November 25, when registration will
be open to all eligible students.
See the detailed registration schedule and instructions on how to register on the Spring
2020 registration page.
Prior to Oct. 21, students will receive individual emails letting them know their registration access times, what holds they currently have that will prevent registration, and
a reminder to check pre-requisites and meet with their advisors. Please note the waitlisting will not be activated until November 25, 2019.
