I wanted to make you aware that some of you may be receiving emails from COBUS@utsa.edu.  The College of Business is sending out the attached letter to students this afternoon with a copy to their assigned advisor.  In some cases, the student have not been reassigned to the generic Business Studies placeholder or Business Studies advisor so please just save the email in SSC Campus when you get a chance.

Subject: COB Letter to Continuing PRB Students

Hello,

We will be sending out letters to continuing pre-business students with 0-14 business hours today.  We have sent these letters in the past, however we did not copy advisors because of the number of records.  In discussing this with Barbara, we thought it best for us to include the advisor of record so that the advisor has a copy of what we are sending to students.  I have attached a sample. 

Please share this information with your team.  Business advisors will be receiving a number of emails from COBUS@utsa.edu.  Advisors can move them in email file folder to access at a later date. 

We ran this report before the break and there are a few advisors outside of the business center that will be copied (a few from placement center).   In addition,  some of the students may have changed out of PRB  to another major and also have a different advisor.
