I hope this message finds you well and in the best of spirits. I am writing to let you know that the Institute for Law and Public Affairs is now accepting applications for its Summer Law School Preparation Academy (SLSPA), and we would like to let your advisors and students know about it.

The SLSPA encompasses 12 credit hours of coursework designed to hone the reading and writing skills students need to successfully gain admission to and excel in law school. This curriculum is designed to prepare students for law school and the LSAT (Law School Admissions Test) by emphasizing analytical thinking, critical reading, and quality writing skills. Students who successfully complete the SLSPA receive the UTSA Certificate in Legal Reasoning.

If you know of students interested in going to law school, please, refer them to us. We provide prelaw advice as well and can help them to be better prepared for law school and the application process.
