Macke Monologues: Just Breathe

Hello Everyone,

This Monday morning has been very busy for me and I seem to drown in my e-mails…  If you had a very busy start of the week as well, I invite you to sit back and take a ‘breather’.

You may want to follow below breathing exercise:

Take a deep breath to inhale and exhale deeply to begin.

Inhale for the count of four, exhale for the count of four

Continue this breathing pattern as many times as you want while you close your eyes and think of a nature spot you visited where you felt happy and relaxed; maybe a beach or a mountain, or your backyard….

Once you are ready to ‘come back’ take a deep breath to inhale and exhale deeply to end.

Get-up from your chair and ‘shake out’ your body or walk a few steps.

Have a good week.

And remember to listen to your body - Sylvia
