Hello Everyone! My name is LaTanya Henry and I am excited to return to the UTSA Advising family! I’m originally from New Orleans, LA, and I graduated from Troy University with a BS in Psychology and I completed my MA in Higher Education and Student Affairs Leadership at the University of Northern Colorado. I started my journey in higher education back in 2003 and I have worked in various roles, but most recently as a Program Manager in the Alvarez Student Success Center here at UTSA.  I love spending quality time with family and friends and being creative through music and crafting and teaching/coaching others.

My name is Marisol “Mari” Mandujano.  I earned a BA in Psychology and Spanish from Texas State University. I have been in higher education for over 20 years. The majority of my experience is in Admissions and Academic Advising. I have worked at both public and private universities in Texas and California. I have a passion for working with students and their families and am very excited to be back at UTSA for the fourth time.  In my spare time I enjoy gardening, spending time with my miniature poodle named Teddy and my extended family which all reside in San Antonio.

Meet Christopher Salazar

Academic Advising Unit: Arts and Humanities

Hi all! My name is Christopher Salazar, but I just go by Chris. I’m very excited for this new adventure with UTSA. I was born and raised in an Air Force town located 8 hours northwest of San Antonio called Clovis. I obtained my Associates with Clovis Community College, then went on to earn my Bachelor’s degree from Eastern New Mexico University, majoring in University Studies with emphases in Anthropology and History.  Since 2012, I’ve spent my career in and around higher education, working in Admissions, Records, Registrar, Marketing, and 4 years in Academic Advising, first as a work study then as a full time advisor. My Filipino mom instilled in me a love of cooking and baking. Outside of the kitchen, I love making costumes, crafting, roller skating, singing karaoke (again thanks to my Filipino heritage), board games and trivia.
