Good morning.  Please see the reminders from Athletics Advising.  If you have any questions, please contact Sara Gothelf or Collin Howlett.

During orientation, student-athletes register with Athletics Advising after visiting with each advising center instead of going to the JPL. When meeting with them, plan classes as normal and talk about TSI testing and holds, but don’t spend time picking actual class times because we will have to work around practice and travel once they come to see us.

Second, there are 21 new freshmen and 4 transfer football student-athletes that will be contacting advising centers on campus regarding majors and course selection for fall. All of them have completed an online orientation because they are currently enrolled in summer courses and arrived on campus the weekend of their high school graduations. Because of this, this group still has a new student advising hold on their accounts, as well as TSI holds when necessary. Certain offices may have experienced an influx in walk-ins this week due to the high volume of this incoming group of football student-athletes looking to connect with an advising center. We send our apologies for the late notice.
