Subject: Stop the Bleed Training Class - September 26th
Good morning,
Stop the Bleed is a nationwide campaign aimed at teaching everyone how to stop life-threating bleeding and save lives in an emergency. No matter how rapid the arrival of professional emergency responders, bystanders will always be first on the scene. A person
who is bleeding can die from blood loss within minutes, so it is important to quickly stop the blood loss. Armed with a little knowledge, a family member, coworker or a bystander can be the difference between life and death. Attend this class to learn some
very simple actions you can take to help save a life!
UTSA is hosting a Stop the Bleed training class for all faculty, staff, and students on Thursday, September 26th from 2:00-3:00pm in the HSU Harris Room 2.212. Faculty and staff can sign up through MyTraining (http://training.utsa.edu/)
class number SA0506. If you know of any students that would like to participate, please have them email
jolyn.demarest@utsa.edu to register.
Please see the flyer attached for more details!
