Meet Michael Segura Academic Advising Unit:
Business Studies Kudoboard for Michael: https://utsaadvising.kudoboard.com/boards/XfTA0mg7
Hello! My name is Michael Segura, and I am excited to be part of the UTSA Advising family (again)! I’m originally from Laredo, Texas, and received my BA in History in 2014,
then completed my MA in Adult Education, both at Texas State University. I also received an MA in History from Sam Houston State University in 2020 and spent a year in a PhD History program at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2021. I have spent the last
6 years working in higher education in numerous roles, up until 2020 I was an academic advisor, and during 2021 I transitioned to a full-time PhD student while being a part time teaching assistant. In my free time, I love to have
carne asadas with family (preferably with a football game on), watch mind-bending movies and tv shows, and watch live bands. |
