Good morning COEHD,

We are pleased to announce that Dr. Melissa Mifflin has been hired as the Assistant Director of Pre Clinical Field Experiences. Dr. Mifflin has had a wealth of experience as a public-school classroom educator and mentor, ILT course instructor, and clinical teaching field supervisor.  Dr. Mifflin obtained her Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Learning and Teaching from UTSA. Her research interests include early childhood education, nature play, and STEM. She has a passion for helping teachers and future teachers become the best they can to support the diverse students of Texas. Please join me in welcoming Dr. Mifflin to the Office of Professional Preparation and Partnerships.
